Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026. This policy explains what information BriskToolbox collects and how it is used.
The short version
BriskToolbox is a collection of free calculators. All calculations run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type into any calculator are never sent to or stored on our servers. We don't require an account, and we don't ask you for personal information to use the tools. We use Google Analytics, which involves cookies; the sections below explain exactly what that means and how to control it. BriskToolbox does not currently display ads.
What we do and don't collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any account details, because there are no accounts. The values you enter into a calculator (loan amounts, weights, ages, and so on) are processed locally in your browser to produce a result and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
We do collect a limited amount of standard, non-identifying information that is needed to run, secure, and improve the site:
- Analytics data: aggregate, anonymized usage information such as pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is used to understand which tools are useful, not to identify you personally.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and basic request data for security and reliability, as is standard for any website.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. BriskToolbox uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for analytics, as described below. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the calculators themselves run on your device and will keep working even if you block cookies.
Analytics (Google Analytics / GA4)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure how the site is used. It collects aggregate usage data — for example, page views, session counts, approximate geographic region, device and browser information, and referral sources — to help us improve the calculators. This data is reported in aggregate and is not used by us to identify individual visitors. Advertising
BriskToolbox does not currently display ads, and this site sets no advertising cookies (including Google's DoubleClick cookie). We may introduce advertising later to keep the calculators free; if we do, we will update this policy — naming the vendors, the cookies they set, and how to opt out — before any ad appears.
Consent for EEA, UK, and Switzerland users
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a consent banner (a Consent Management Platform, or CMP) governs how non-essential cookies, such as analytics cookies, are used. Where required by the GDPR, those cookies are used only after you provide consent, and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the consent options provided on the site.
Your rights (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information:
- EEA/UK (GDPR): rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent for cookie-based analytics.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

BriskToolbox may link to third-party websites that we don't control. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and this policy doesn't apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Children's privacy
BriskToolbox is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
